Our Story
Virtues4Kids has been inspired by the Virtues Project International and the book The Family Virtues Guide by Linda Kavelin Popov. The inspiration for this project came from a deep concern about the troubling behaviors we see becoming more common among children and teenagers today. From incidents of bullying, to kids bringing knives to school and threatening teachers, to the negative influence of violent video games—it's clear that something is missing when it comes to teaching children about virtues and positive values.
Witnessing this, we felt the urgent need to create something that could help parents, educators, and communities instill virtues like kindness, respect, courage, and integrity in children from a young age. This led to the creation of the Virtues4Kids folder—a collection of 16 visually engaging posters that present essential virtues in a way that’s easy for children to understand and absorb.
Our goal is to print and distribute these posters as widely as possible, reaching families, kindergartens, and schools everywhere. We believe that by visually reinforcing these values in everyday spaces, we can start making a real difference in how kids grow up—nurturing them to become compassionate, respectful, and courageous individuals.
In addition to the poster book, we offer products like kids’ t-shirts, hoodies, stickers, and notebooks, each designed with virtue-inspired messages. These items serve as gentle, consistent reminders for children to practice virtues such as honesty, patience, and responsibility every day.
We are also developing a children’s book series and a YouTube channel featuring stories about kids practicing virtues in their daily lives. Additionally, we offer a podcast for parents and educators, available on our website and iHeartRadio, providing insights and tips on fostering virtues in children."
We are currently seeking donors and grants to help us jumpstart these projects and bring these materials to life. With your support, we can spread the message of virtues far and wide—creating a positive ripple effect that will shape future generations with kindness, empathy, and integrity.
Our Mission
Our mission at Virtues4Kids is to inspire and nurture children’s character development by promoting 16 essential virtues through engaging activities, stories, songs, and vibrant posters. We strive to empower the next generation to lead with kindness, courage, and integrity, creating a foundation for a more compassionate and resilient world.
